Shopping
Ringsted Outlet by Exit 36 is Denmark’s only real outlet village. Here you find a large number of shops with well-known Danish and international brands selling the original make with a minimum of 30-70 % discount. In case you get hungry, you find McDonald’s and The Burger. Free parking.
Skjoldenæsholm Tram Museum
Take a ride with both Danish and foreign tramcars through the beautiful wood near the Manor Skjoldenæsholm and Skjoldenæsholm Golf Center. Bring your picnic and have a different outing in the wood for the whole family.
Ringsted Radio Museum
Take a trip back in time to the cradle of radio and TV. The museum has a unique collection and delivers effects to productions of television series, films etc. Enjoy glimpses of B&O’s iconic products through 90 years and listen to the technical wonders from the past.
St. Bendt’s Church
The Church is the oldest brick church in Scandinavia and was inaugurated in 1170. The Church has a fine small museum including the plait of Queen Berengaria, the original lead plate from Valdemar’s grave, lovely old tiles etc. and a copy of the Dagmar cross, which was found in her grave.
